![]() Whenever I use stencils I use my Wendy Vecchi Stay-tion, it is a magnetic board, that holds the stencil in place and makes stenciling fast and easy! I also love how well they layered on top of each other. I love how you can get a light application or a vibrant darker look. ![]() I also did a fun IGTV and shared the kit contents and demo’d with the inks hereĪs I mentioned, I layered the Party Balloons 6×6 stencil using the Sunbeam and Blush Pawsitively Saturated Ink Pads. You are going to see me use these a lot more in the coming months I can promise you that! You can see all the colors available here After I finished I immediately ordered the other inks I needed to create a full set. I hadn’t gotten a chance to play until I created these cards. ![]() Jennabler Alert! I ordered the Trio 1 set of these inks on the first day of STAMPtember because they were teal □ and I wanted to try them out. I used them to stamp the stars and “Happy Birthday” from the Birthday Bash 6×8 stamp set included in the kit. The inks layered so nicely, as you can see here where I used the Party Balloons 6×6 Stencil. My more in-depth answer is: I found these inks to blend SO nicely on 100lb Solar White Cardstock, I honestly was in shock! I used my Simon Says Stamp blender brushes (there are 2 small brushes included in the kit) and got such a nice smooth, even, vibrant blend. My short answer about these inks is I was BLOWN AWAY! There are THREE included in the kit Blush, Sunbeam, and Ocean. This was the first card I started to create because I was dying to try out the new Simon Says Stamp Pawsitively Saturated Ink Pads. I have listed those supplies at the end of this post and as always a full supply list with links to shop at the end of my post as well! As always, Simon Says Stamp has included so many fun items, and such a great variety- once I started creating I couldn’t stop! There are a few basic supplies not included in the kit that I used to complete my cards. I used all the fun supplies included in the kit. I have FIVE cards to share with you today. STAMPtember Birthday Bash Card Kit, Simon Says Stamp Simon Says Stamp does a great job putting kits together, that have great value and fun supplies! As always there is a limited quantity of this kit, so if you like it- don’t delay in ordering! Even though this card kit is sold out, all of the supplies I used on my cards are still available individually, and I have linked to them throughout the post. Today I am sharing a few cards made with the exclusive Simon Says Stamp’s STAMPtember Birthday Bash Card Kit! This kit is perfect for creating birthday cards all year long and is jam-packed with tons of supplies! Phew! I have been busy busy busy in the studio! I hope you are enjoying all the inspiration I have been sharing lately. It just gives a little interest to the flowers and adds a ton of sparkly goodness! I die-cut the I Love You sentiment with black and white cardstock and adhered it to the panel.Note: don’t miss the WICKED fun Lawn Fawn card I am also sharing today! Then I mixed a tiny bit of white gouache with Ink on 3 Pixie Dust which is a super sparkly medium that can be mixed with paints and painted the flowers. Once it was totally dry I stamped the Daisy Bouquet arrangement with versamark and heat-embossed it with white embossing powder. I splattered it with water and iridescent spray to lighten a few areas and add a little sparkle. ![]() ![]() I used Lemon Drop, Creamsicle, and Fruit Punch to create a bright and cheery background. Next up was a card featuring the beautiful Daisy Bouquet set! I started by blending the new Hero Arts Reactive Inks onto a panel of white cardstock. I’ll have more to share this week but today I’m kicking it off with two very different cards!įirst up is my card using the fun watercolor prints from Suzy Plantamura! I’m REALLY loving the designs she’s come out with recently and colored this up for a Father’s Day card for my sailboat-loving dad! □ I used copics to color the card and added accents with a white gel pen, a little chunky and prisma glitter, and crystal glaze! I’m still not comfortable just using blending to create ombre skies so I like using a pointillism style of coloring to create interesting textures! I do lay down a base layer of color and then go over it with small dots of copic markers! Once I was finished I adhered the panel to a white card base and then stamped Happy Father’s Day from the older Mom and Dad Icons set inside to finish the card! ![]()
